This is a comprehensive three-day hybrid workshop addressing ICAO international requirements for aeronautical parts conformity, traceability, and the identification, detection, and resolution of Suspected Unapproved Parts (SUPs). The Airworthiness Needs Analysis highlights that material defects, parts nonconformity, quality control issues, and inadequate maintenance or parts management are contributing factors in many SCF-NP/PP occurrences.
The presence of unapproved or non-conforming parts constitutes a global aviation concern. ICAO Annex 6 and Annex 8 place explicit obligations on States and operators related to parts conformity, continuing airworthiness, and reporting of faults, malfunctions, and defects.
This workshop is intended to address this need in the APAC region.
Join us as we discuss:
Enhance knowledge and understanding of ICAO’s international standards and recommended practices related to parts conformity, parts traceability, and airworthiness.
Identify and address common regional challenges related to aircraft parts conformity and traceability.
Equip participants with the skills to effectively identify, detect, and manage risks associated with SUPs and share best practices.
