Jermaine "Caddy" Cadogan serves as Convergent’s Operations Manager and Lead Instructor. He brings his 24 years of aviation maintenance experience as well as years of experience as a Master Training Specialist and instructor. His personal motto is, “Wherever you go, leave the place better than you found it.” Jermaine is a retired Marine with 24 years of honorable service. He came up “the hard way.” He enlisted in the United States Marine Corps as an Aviation Ordnance Marine and his hard work and leadership potential allowed him to be competitively selected to become a Marine Corps Warrant Officer. After a few years as a Warrant, his talent was once again recognized, and he was commissioned as a Marine Corps officer. Throughout his career, Jermaine deployed with Marines around the world in defense of our nation. “Caddy” has maintained numerous type/ model/series aircraft and been around aviation his entire adult life developing a deep passion for both aviation and aviation safety. In addition to his aviation maintenance experience, he is also a certified instructor and Master Training Specialist serving as the director of the Aviation Ordnance Managers’ Career Progression course for the Navy and the Marine Corps. Since his retirement from the United States Marines Corps, Jermaine has been serving as Operations Manager and Lead Instructor for the Convergent Performance team. Has a delivered scores of aviation maintenance on-site lectures and webinars to both civilian and military maintenance technicians, leaders, and other functional areas. A gifted leader and motivational speaker, Caddy’s maintenance, culture, and professionalism workshops and speaking engagements have been showcased to thousands both inside the United States and around the world.
