Joe Dickinson is a New Jersey native who grew up with a passion for aviation as his father was a WWII Army Air Corps veteran and an airline pilot. Upon graduating from the University of Colorado at Boulder, he was commissioned in the United States Navy and served as a Navy pilot for over 20 years of
active-duty service. Predominantly flying P-3 Orion aircraft he deployed all around the world while also serving in various leadership positions. After retiring from active-duty service in 2008, Joe began his career in business aviation. He is presently employed by Hess Corporation as an international Captain and Safety Manager. Joe has been a Teterboro User Group board member since 2014 and presently serves as the Vice President, he is also a member of the Flight Safety Foundation’s Business Advisory Committee (BAC), and he is a member of the Northeast Safety Roundtable (NESRT).
