He was an Air Force pilot where his assignments included command of a flying squadron in Germany and a tour with the 89th Airlift Wing at Andrews Air Force Base. After 20 years in uniform, he retired as a lieutenant colonel. After another 25 years in business aviation, he recently retired as the chief pilot for a Gulfstream GVII flight department in Bedford, Massachusetts. His logbook includes the T-37, T-38, the Boeing 707 and 747, as well as the Gulfstream III, IV, V, G450, and VII. He calls himself an average pilot with average stick and rudder skills with an above average desire to learn and instruct, which is why he is here.
