Cleiton is Vice President of Technology & Advanced Projects at Embraer and member of the ATECH advisory board, an Embraer group company. From 2006 to 2010, he worked as a Fly-By-Wire Control Law and Autopilot Systems Engineer working on the ERJ190, Phenom 100, Phenom 300, Legacy 500 and C390 Millenium aircraft. At the end of 2010, he took over the management of the C390 Millenium Control Laws team, being responsible for training the team and the entire development of control laws, modeling and simulations of C390 flight commands until 2015, when he took over the position of Senior Manager responsible for managing the C390 Flight Test Campaign. From 2019 until the beginning of 2023, he was responsible for the Technical Management of the C390, leading the engineering team to FOC - Full Operational Capability, when he took over the management of New Developments for Commercial Aviation, responsible for the integrated development of new commercial aviation products. In June 2023 he became a member of the ATECH Advisory Board. In December 2023, he took over the Technology & Advanced Projects board, responsible for the development of Ground Systems (Radars), Embedded Electronic Equipment, Embedded Software, Technology Development and Advanced Projects. Cleiton has a degree in Electronic Engineering (2002), a master’s in Systems and Control (2004) and a PhD in Systems and Control (2008) from Aeronautics Institute of Technology (ITA); and an MBA in Strategic People Management from Fundação Getúlio Vargas (FGV).
