Anthony is the Head of General Aviation, UK & Lloyd’s and Global Chief Underwriting Officer for General Aviation at AXA XL He joined AXA XL in July 2010 having been both a wholesale broker in London and retail broker in South Africa for over a decade. He holds a Masters Degree in the “Management of Aviation Technology & Innovation” as well as completing an Advanced Management Leadership Programme at Oxford University and a Bureau Veritas lead auditor program. He is pilot and has been involved in Aviation for over 35 years. AXA XL Aviation is written from 3 regions and 13 offices around the world. They employ over 80 skilled underwriters and write in excess of USD750,000,000 in aviation premiums each year. A relatively small part of the AXA Groups GWP of USD104 Billion annually.
