As Executive Director, Flight Safety at GE Aerospace, Terri’s oversees safety across the enterprise. She is responsible for driving proactive safety guidance into how we design, make, and maintain our products. Terri’s extensive technical knowledge and business acumen ensures that our product safety strategy is best-in-class across the industry. She delivers with focus, and provides GE Aerospace employees with the tools and information necessary to drive a culture of safety. With her passion for product safety, Terri is a sought-after speaker at events across the enterprise. She has provided technical, process, and strategy deep dive conversations on product safety to the Senior Aerospace Leadership Team (SALT) to help prepare the team for the work ahead as a standalone company. These deep dives included proposals for expanding the Safety Management System across the entire enterprise, complying with new regulations, and proactive deployment of safety measures to keep GE Aerospace at the forefront of leading the industry. Terri has more than 35 years' experience at GE Aerospace. She began her career as an Edison Engineer in the Life Management team, where she built her knowledge and respect for the impact that rotating hardware could have on flight safety. She then held various roles across both Design and Systems Engineering teams. Her leadership journey began in the Structures Center of Excellence then progressed through leading the GEnx-2B Systems Engineering, Product Engineering Center Fan and Compressor teams, to the GM of the Aeroderivative Engine Operations Engineering team. Terri is a graduate of the University of Cincinnati with a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering.
