Dr. Dandaithapani (“Dr. Pani”) is a medical doctor and aviation psychiatrist with specialized training in aviation medicine and aviation human factors. His work focuses on the psychological and cognitive dimensions of aviation safety, including fatigue, stress, decision-making, situational awareness, and human performance under pressure.

He serves as a Senior Psychiatrist with the Ministry of Health Malaysia, Vice President of the Academy of Organizational and Occupational Psychiatry, and a member of the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) Mental Health Working Group.

An international speaker on aviation mental health and human factors, Dr. Pani advocates for integrating mental health into aviation safety frameworks, emphasizing psychological resilience and cognitive readiness as essential to safe operations in an increasingly advanced and automated aviation environment.
