Air Line Pilots Association, International
Company Description
Schedule With Safety
The Air Line Pilots Association, International (ALPA) is the world’s largest airline pilot union, representing more than 80,000 pilots across 42 U.S. and Canadian airlines. ALPA is a founding member of the International Federation of Air Line Pilots Associations (IFALPA).
Since 1931, pilot safety has been at the core of our mission. Through our Air Safety Organization—driven by over 600 volunteer pilots—we deliver fact-based evaluations to keep the airline industry safe and secure. We represent the collective interests of all airline pilots by negotiating contracts for better pay, benefits, and working conditions. We also advocate for our members before Congress, Parliament, federal agencies, and international bodies to advance policies that strengthen the aviation industry.
