Jananya (Jane) Siripanee is the Chief of Operational Administration at the Bangkok Terminal Control Center. Her responsibilities encompass traffic services at Suvarnabhumi Tower, Don Muang Tower, and Bangkok Approach. Additionally, Jane serves as the safety manager for the center. In 2006, while working full-time as an air traffic controller, Jane participated in the safety management activities during the transfer of air traffic services from Don Muang to Suvarnabhumi Airport. Since then, she has been a strong advocate for the safety management system, particularly in safety risk assessment and occurrence analysis. In 2019, Jane successfully led the transition of AEROTHAI’s new Air Traffic Management System at the Bangkok Terminal Control Center. This new system required controllers to adapt to a new approach in managing traffic and master a new HMI. Jane is an active member of Suvarnabhumi’s Runway Safety Team, interfacing AEROTHAI’s safety management system with airport counterparts. She also collaborates with the Airports of Thailand on various A-CDM activities, aiming to enhance safety and capacity. Currently, Jane is involved in supporting the operations of Suvarnabhumi’s new third runway. She is also a strong advocate for the development of digital towers in AEROTHAI.
