Roberto has large experience on the conception, development, certification and support of avionics systems (displays, radios, ACAS, TAWS, etc.) for different Embraer aircraft models. He has extensive knowledge on safety assessment, airborne software aspects of certification and human factors. Roberto works for the Embraer Chief Engineer Department since 2011 where he provides policy direction and oversight for avionics systems and human factors for the various Embraer programs. Finally, he also participates on a number of industry committees for the development of aeronautical standards (SAE G-10TDS, SAE A-4ED, IATA ATTF, ARINC AEEC GAT/TRFD, etc.).
