Capital Airports Holdings Co., Ltd. (CAH) is a large cross-regional airports group directly under the Civil Aviation Administration of China (CAAC). With airport operations as its core business, CAH manages 54 hub and regional airports in 7 provinces, municipalities, and autonomous regions in China, including Beijing, Tianjin, Hebei, Jiangxi, Jilin, Inner Mongolia and Heilongjiang. Our member airports represent nearly one fifth of the country's civil airports. In 2023, CAH handled 1.586 million aircraft movements, 1.907 million tons of freight and mail, and 203 million passengers, which accounted for one sixth of the total passenger traffic nationwide.
Leveraging a broad-based airport network, CAH focuses on airport operations, ground handling services, and also runs airport commerce and airport-related business, with the 4 sectors supporting and boosting one another. CAH now owns a total of 121 subsidiaries, with roughly 50,000 employees, RMB 200 billion of total assets and more than RMB 90 billion of net assets. CAH brand value is worth over RMB 35 billion.
CAH has attached great importance to international cooperation. We strive to further cooperation with world-renowned enterprises and higher education institutions, have established friendly airport relations with nearly 50 airports worldwide, and have actively participated in activities hosted by international industry organizations such as ACI. CAH is one of the founders of the East Asian Airports Alliance and initiated the Beijing Global Friend Airports CEO Forum. We will host the 9th Beijing Global Friend Airports CEO Forum on September 23-25, 2024.
