TravelSky Technology Limited (hereafter referred to as “TravelSky”) is a central enterprise administrated by State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council (SASAC). It is a solely-state-owned high-tech enterprise specialized in providing information services for air transportation and travel industry and the only enterprise that takes information services as its main business among those administrated by SASAC.
TravelSky is the third largest global distribution system (GDS) in the world, and has the world’s largest Billing and Settlement Plan (BSP) data processing center. The information system TravelSky operates has been listed as one of the eight major systems supervised by the State Council. The Airport Business Department, whose businesses cover sales, production, operation and maintenance, and other support service systems, provides airport information technology services to airports, airlines and airport-stationed units. The department is committed to creating the overall solution of Smart Airport by centering on “One Platform: Smart Airport Central Platform” and “Three Major Lines: Smart Travel, Smart Operations and Smart Services”.
