Guangdong Airport Management Group Co., Ltd. is a large-scale state-owned air transportation service guarantee enterprise directly under the Guangdong Provincial People's Government. It was established as Guangdong Airport Management Group Company on February 25, 2004, and was restructured and established as a limited company on April 18, 2013.
At present, Guangdong Airport Group has 7 airport companies and 5 member units including Guangzhou Baiyun, Jieyang Chaoshan, Zhanjiang, Meizhou, Huizhou, Shaoguan and Foshan, with a total of more than 14,000 employees. Among them, Baiyun Airport Co., Ltd. is a listed company, Baiyun Airport is one of the three major domestic aviation hubs, and Jieyang Chaoshan, Zhanjiang, and Meizhou Airports are first-class aviation ports in the province that have been approved by the state and are open to the outside world. In 2019, the passenger throughput of the group's airports was 86.95 million, accounting for approximately three-fifths of the province's total.
