Yash Guleria is a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the Air Traffic Management Research Institute (ATMRI), a joint institute of the Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore (CAAS) and Nanyang Technological University (NTU), Singapore. He currently leads research initiatives at the intersection of artificial intelligence and air transportation, with a particular focus on generative AI, explainability, and human-AI hybrid paradigms for safety-critical applications. He earned his Ph.D. from ATMRI, NTU, where his dissertation focused on enhancing air traffic conflict resolution through machine learning, conformal automation, and flow-centric paradigms. Prior to his Ph.D., he held a Research Associate position at ATMRI, where he developed approaches for passenger forecasting and predicting air traffic delay. He has also served as a visiting researcher at the École Nationale de l’Aviation Civile (ENAC), France. Yash has served on the organizing committees of international conferences, including the 11th International Conference on Research in Air Transportation (ICRAT 2024) and the International Conference on Artificial Intelligence and Data Analytics in Air Transportation (AIDA-AT 2020). He has been actively involved in fostering cross-continental research collaboration between the EU and Asia-Pacific aviation ecosystems. Outside of research, Yash is an aviation and technology enthusiast, who enjoys mountain hiking and music.
