Martin is a computer science gradate of RWTH Aachen in Germany. His strong passion for aviation led to a career in the avionics world; he has been with Collins for over 25 years and currently leads strategy for communication, navigation and surveillance (CNS) products within Collins' avionics business unit. Prior roles were in engineering and program management. He is also an active and passionate pilot; he owns a Beech Bonanza which he has flown all over the United States. Martin loves sharing with others what he has learned in many years of flying as a flight instructor as well as through his aviation-themed YouTube channel.
