Andrew has worked for the Met Office for 12 years and for most of that time in Aviation Meteorology, starting out as an Operational Meteorologist across many different military stations mainly in Southern England. Thriving on the customer facing advisor roles he then moved to Heathrow Airport as a Senior Operational Meteorologist in 2014, working in the Airport Operations Centre. Andrew also has had secondments to the Met Office College training Meteorologists but currently is the Operations Manager of the onsite team, leading the service to Heathrow and driving continuous improvement of our services.
