Thomas Anthony Gabriel Oliveira Casella Luiz Ricardo Nascimento Michel Piers
Description

Historically, safety leadership and safety culture have acknowledged that some circumstances are unforeseeable, and that leaders must help their organizations learn from their mistakes. Effective safety leaders recognize that punishment for reasonable mistakes is counterproductive and that when an organization learns from its mistakes, its performance will improve. Today, leaders must help organizations learn not just from what goes wrong, but also from what goes right, and motivate organizations to keep improving with innovative advances in processes and procedures that will deliver robust safety and reliability.
