Dejan Damjanovic is a life-long contributor to the goals of flight operations safety, thru the science of Aeronautical Information Management (AIM). His passion for AIM has embraced the co-authoring of three RTCA industry standards; the architecture and development team leadership of the world’s largest AIM data warehouse, a Principal Investigator for NASA Synthetic Vision research initiatives, as well as pioneering remote sensing techniques for the origination of AIM. He has led the acquisition of navigational data at several thousand airports worldwide for commercial and government customers. Mr Damjanovic has presented white papers, articles and panel sessions for industry organizations such as ION, ICAO, FAA, IATA, AEEC, IFAIMA, MAPPS, ASPRS, and JACIE. His passion for all things aviation have also led him to being a Commercial Pilot in Canada and the US, rated for multi-engine, instrument and instrument instruction. Mr Damjanovic is a proud graduate of the Faculty of Engineering & Computer Science of Concordia University.
