Luiz Ricardo de Souza Nascimento graduated from the Brazilian Military Air Force Academy (FAB) and has over 35 years of experience as a military pilot (helicopter and airpalne). He possesses academic training in Managerial Development by the Pontificial Catholic University in Rio de Janeiro; MBA in Advanced Executive Development by the Federal Fluminense University; Safety Management System Course – promoted by the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) in Montreal and MBA in Politics and Strategy by Lins University Center. Professional Experience: Chief of CINDACTA II Airspace Control´s Section for Accident Prevention and Investigation; Chief of the Communications, Navigation and Vigilance Division (D-CNS) at the Brazilian Department of Airspace Control (DECEA); Chief of the Airspace Control Security Advisory (ASEGCEA); Commander of CINDACTA II; Air Force Director of Economy and Finance (DIREF), Chief of the Strategic Planning Subdivision at the Brazilian Aeronautics Command General Staff. Luiz Ricardo was appointed as Director on December 14th 2021, with mandate until March 19th 2026.
