Shayne Campbell Shayne is currently the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Air Traffic Organization (ATO) Senior International Air Traffic Representative for Asia Pacific, based in Singapore. He serves as the focal point on regional air traffic matters, with a specific concentration on Communications, Navigation and Surveillance Systems for Air Traffic Management. He also is the APAC air navigation safety focal for FAA ATO, and coordinates with regional air navigation service providers, industry stakeholders, and regulatory organizations to enhance air navigation safety and efficiency in Asia Pacific. Prior to this assignment, he was the Safety Program Manager for the Civil Air Navigation Services Organisation (CANSO), where he oversaw the strategic direction of CANSO’s safety program and managed the daily operations and activities of the CANSO Safety Standing Committee. Shayne has spent over 30 years in aviation, 26 of those with the FAA in air traffic management; the first eight years in various operational roles and the last 18 years focused primarily on enhancing operational safety. Shayne holds a Bachelor of Science in Professional Aeronautics with a minor in Aviation Safety from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, and a Master of Business Administration from the University of West Georgia.
