Engr Md Anwar Hossain Deputy Director (CNS-ANS Inspection) cc. Flight Standard & Regulations Division Civil Aviation Authority of Bangladesh Engr Anwar Hossain is a Deputy Director (CNS-ANS Inspection) current charge, at the Civil Aviation Authority of Bangladesh (CAAB) having over 21 years of provision and regulating experience in air navigation and aviation safety. As a part of his duties, he is entrusted with implementation of the State Safety Progamme, national aviation safety plan and safety oversight activities in the ANS area to maintain global standards in Bangladesh. He is currently holding the Deputy NCMC position for the ICAO USAOP activities in Bangladesh. Mr. Anwar holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Electronic Engineering and a Post Graduate Diploma in Information and Communication Technology. He is also a CAAB certified Instructor for SSP and SMS Courses. Mr. Anwar started his career with CAAB as an Assistant Communication Engineer. Since his joining in 2003, he has made significant contributions for implementation of new, modern and state of the art technologies and systems to enhance the aviation safety in Bangladesh. During his tenure over the past few years and due credit may be given to the significant progress that has been made in the development and implementation of Training Policy, Training Programme, Training Need Analysis and Training Plan for the CAAB ANS Inspectorate staff. He also led curriculum reviews to improve the quality of training for CNS technical staff. Mr. Anwar participated in many ICAO events and many decision-making forums including General Assembly Meetings, Air Navigation Conferences, APAC DGCA Conferences, APAC RASG meeting, APANPIRG meetings, etc. He attended many training courses, seminars and workshops in aviation safety and air navigation fields from home and abroad. Mr. Anwar was born on 21 January 1978. He is blessed to have a wife and two sons.
