Captain Geoffrey Lui is the Chief Operating Officer and Head of Flying Operations at Jetstar Asia, one of region’s leading low-cost airlines. As part of the Qantas Group, Jetstar Asia operates a growing fleet of Airbus A320 aircraft to an expanding network across Asia.
Geoffrey joined Jetstar Asia in 2006 and has held various appointments including Deputy Manager of Training and Chief Pilot and was certified as an Approved Flight Examiner and Flight Instructor under the CAAS.
As COO, Geoffrey leads Jetstar Asia’s operations teams, including flight operations, engineering, ground operations, cabin crew, and training. He is also instrumental in the development of the airline’s safety culture.
Prior to joining Jetstar Asia, Geoffrey served with the Republic of Singapore Air Force for 30 years, where he held various senior command and staff appointments, including the command of three operational squadrons.
With more than 48 years of aviation experience and a passion for flying, people and safety, Geoffrey has made a significant contribution to aviation in Singapore and is a trusted and respected leader within the industry.
