Allison is an experienced psychotherapist and former United (Continental) flight attendant who has focused her practice on the LGBTQ+ community. With extensive experience in HIV, substance use disorder treatment, complex trauma and shame-resiliency, Allison combines her personal experience in aviation into her private practice. She is an avid volunteer and advocate of the LGBTQ+ and Aviation communities. As a board member for the National Alliance of Mental Illness (NAMI Valley of the Sun) Allison dedicates her time destigmatizing and advocating for mental health care for all, including as a standard for all aviation professionals. She lives in Phoenix, Arizona with her pilot spouse, and dachshund, Klaus.
