Tor Finseth is a R&D scientist at Honeywell Aerospace in the Avonic Flight Deck Systems group. His expertise are in the study of the human factors in context of proof-of-concept aerospace technologies (TRL 1-6) in the focus areas of speech recognition, machine learning, biosensing, human monitoring, touchscreen interface design and usability, and AR/VR technologies. He currently is the PI on a multi-million dollar IARPA ARTS program to develop real-time speech annoymization systems. He is also leading R&D projects on accent conversion, transcription, and speech recognition for aricraft pilots and ATC.
