Benjamin’s love for aviation started early, but things really took off after a chance meeting with the owner of a major aviation consulting firm during a vacation flight—an encounter that turned into a life-changing mentorship. While still in college, he got hands-on with the industry working the ramp at a local airport before starting a 3D printing startup, which he grew and sold. Later, he ran a flight school at PDK, picking up a wide range of experience along the way. In 2022, he teamed up with Preston LaVangie to launch Fyve By, combining their passion and vision to build something new in aviation and bring an end to hangar rash.
