IASS 2026 Theme | Is Aviation Ready to Scale Safely? Leadership for Growth, Complexity, and Disruption

The demand for global air travel is expected to more than double by 2050. To meet the safety challenges that are inherent with this level of growth, we will need to not only learn from past best practices but also reimagine how we will do things in the future. Our growth challenges will be punctuated by increasing complexity as new entrants become regular participants in our airspace system, and, at the same time, we will continue to face natural and manmade disruptions. The International Aviation Safety Summit 2026 will explore and seek the answers to our seminal challenge in the next two decades: Is aviation ready to scale safely?
