Tzvetomir Blajev is Flight Safety Foundation Director Europe and Global Operational Safety. Tzvetomir leads the Foundation European strategy development. As a global operational safety champion for the Foundation, Tzvetomir bridges research with practice to deliver global safety improvements in operations, including the global operational safety initiatives such as Global Action Plan for the Prevention of Runway Excursions, Conflict Zones Airspace Risk, Global Action Plan for the Prevention of Runway Incursions and Learning From All Operations. 

Tzvetomir is the EUROCONTROL Operational Safety Coordinator, leading the process to identify operational safety hazards for the ATM network, formulating the Top 5 safety priorities and the managing the corresponding operational safety studies and safety knowledge management. 

Tzvetomir has over 30 years of experience in aviation, leading collaborative interdisciplinary teams for safety improvements, including global reforms to tackle specific operational safety risks and managing teams to develop the world’s largest aviation knowledge base SKYbrary.

Dr. Jon Holbrook is a cognitive scientist in the Crew Systems and Aviation Operations Branch at NASA Langley Research Center, and serves as Human Factors Discipline Deputy for the NASA Engineering and Safety Center. Dr. Holbrook is interested in the cognitive aspects of human performance in complex environments, and the design of work systems and environments that are engineered to align with how our highly evolved cognitive systems work. Dr. Holbrook’s primary area of research focuses on understanding how people create safety. He received his Ph.D. in Cognitive Science from Vanderbilt University.

Dr Steven Shorrock is Senior Team Leader - Human Factors at EUROCONTROL. He has nearly 30 years’ experience in applied psychology, human factors and safety across transportation, healthcare and government. His work focuses on understanding and learning from human work, and designing and implementing systems to improve system performance and human wellbeing. He is a Fellow of the British Psychological Society.

PD Dr. Nadine Bienefeld is a Senior Researcher and Lecturer at ETH Zurich, Switzerland. Her research examines the conditions under which human–AI collaboration outperforms either party working alone, and how to guard against the risks of misaligned AI use. Earlier roles in Aviation Risk Management and Human Factors at Swiss Int. Air Lines shaped her view of how people operate safely in complex sociotechnical systems; a perspective she now brings to healthcare and other high-risk domains.
