Sohyun Park began her career at the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport (MOLIT) in 2012, serving as an air traffic controller for seven years until 2018. From 2019, she took on roles in Air Traffic Management (ATM) policy and safety oversight, where she worked for three years. Since 2022, She has been responsible for managing the State Safety Programme (SSP) of the Republic of Korea, with a focus on overseeing the Korea Aviation Safety Data Analysis Center (KASDAC), which functions as Korea’s Safety Data Collection and Processing System (SDCPS), and performing safety risk analysis to ensure the effective implementation of the SSP.
