Benjamin Scheidel is the Group Director of Airframe Services at HAECO, where he oversees global base and line maintenance operations. He plays a key role in driving strategic development initiatives within the Airframe segment of the group. Since joining HAECO in 2022, Benjamin has served as Executive General Manager of Base Maintenance and as Chief Executive Officer at HAECO Hong Kong. Before HAECO, he held various leadership roles within the Lufthansa Group, working across Europe, Northeast Asia, Southeast Asia, and the Chinese Mainland. With over 20 years of experience in the aviation industry, including 14 years in Asia, Benjamin brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise. His diverse skill set spans technical fields, operations management, business development, product management, commercial strategy, and project management.
